long time no update...
It has been a couple of months since I have updated this blog. Life has had me very busy working, spending time with my family, and many other things that I don't have time to list:-). God has been so good, the story He has been writing in my life has been amazing and beautiful!! I wish I had time and space to tell you all about everything, but it looks like I will only be able to tell you the highlights...
In mid October God called me to be a missionary in Africa with my future husband (still unknown as to who he is:-)! God has so softly and quietly led me to this point in my life, slowly showing me His will for my life. I did not want to be a missionary, going out of the country was against everything that I wanted to do (bugs are not my thing)! God has given me grace and is allowing me to be able to handle the bugs, and the weather difference that will be in Africa or wherever God calls me to!
Other things going on, I am looking into doing correspondence courses next fall if the Lord allows financially in missions at Bob Jones University (BJU). I am very excited about this and cannot wait to see how the Lord leads!!
Well, this is all I can tell you right now as I have to get busy with other things. If you want to know more feel free to contact me at any time:-)
Praying for you all,
Andrea~

Look at time fly!!!
At the end of August I felt led by God to start a young ladies e-mail encouragement group. Which consists of a daily encouragement from God's Word (right now I am going through Psalms 119 a verse a day) and expounding on it as God leads, and a little tid bit from me and what God has been doing in in my heart. It has been so blessed by God and reaching ten girls as of now. Please pray as I continue this as long as the Lord keeps the door open for me to.
I am also keeping up with my full-time nannying my two girls who have SO much energy I'm not quite sure what to do with them all the time...HEHE! The 1 1/2 year old keeps me on my toes at all time as she is finding out she can finally reach up on the table and grab things. Also she is finding that she can deside what she wants to do and not always listen to me...it has been interesting working with her and teaching her to obey me when I tell her something.
In my free time I eat and sleep...HEHE...no, that's not all I do. I try and spend time with my family and occationaly my friends! It is not always easy to find time in my CRAZY busy schedule to be with my friends. I try though...hehe!
Ok, well I am off to get some sleep...feel free to send me an e-mail on how your doing if I have not talked to you in a while:-).
Keeping busy!
Andrea~

To Die is Gain...
Philippians 1:20-21 "That I shall not be put to shame in anything, but that with all boldness, Christ shall even now, as always, be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain."
Paul tells us that for him, he was living to his fullest when he was living for Christ! But he was gaining EVERYTHING when he was suffering for Christ. Pastor Albert explained how Paul suffered such excruciating pain during his time of serving Christ! He was whipped, stoned, and beat with sticks. One time he was beat so bad they thought he was dead! If we read further we find that every time he suffered he spoke more of Christ's name! He lived such an awesome testimony for His Lord, I don't think we could even come close to it. But this is what our goal should be, almost desiring to suffer so we have a bigger testimony for our Christ!
"...To live is Christ, and to die [suffer] is gain."
