Starbucks!

Today I decided that I need some time to just be alone and have no distractions (and a place to drink coffee;-) what better place than Starbucks?! hehe! It was very nice to get out after being home for so long with my foot. I took a book that a friend and I are reading (Freedom From Your Past) with me to read cause I am a little behind (about four or five chapters!). It was SO good, the chapter I was reading was on unforgiveness! That is a big subject!

What is unforgiveness? What is forgiveness?
Matthew 18:21-35 shows us both of those VERY well. About the king that forgave the servant his debt of ten thousand talents and he went out and did not forgive the ten talents! The servant that did not forgive ended up living with that the rest of his life. Such a wonderful example; when we do not forgive we end up living with it the rest of our life, either by bitterness or having daily reminders that we are mad at that person!

The question is now...who do you need to forgive? Has God given you a daily reminder of someone you have not forgiven? Go forgive them! It is not worth holding a grudge!! "But Andrea! You don't know what they have done to me!!" You might be saying. Well, did God know what the soldiers did to Jesus? Yes, and Jesus forgave them at God's prompting. God instructs us to forgive "...Not seven times, but seventy times seven..." That is 490 times, now keep in mind that is not how many times you forgive someone. Jesus was just showing us that you don't put a limit on forgiving someone! How many times has God forgiven you?

Think about it my friends!
